Age of Empire is a nice strategy game, similar to the famous red alert. You can the technology of your tribe in the game improve by updating it during the game going on.
To win the key is how fast and how to properly decide on which field you want to develop first. For example, if you focus on the construction of military units alone, you can to fall far behind on the technology end... And if you focus on technology extension and you may have not enough army to defend your base, as an enemy attack launched...
I think it will be easier to make a defense troops around 7 to 10 Milirary, count in the mixed play... and then only full-swing, your country technology to develop.
